Not really saying it's a "bad" company, They just have a twisted idea of what constitutes a "day off". I would get into the yard on a Sunday morning about 6 AM, after two weeks out, and was told to be back at 4 PM on Monday. I'd ask about getting a few days off and I was told I was getting the "34 hour reset" required by DoT". When I went through orientation, I was told I'd two days off after two weeks out. I wasn't told the company considered any day you were at home a "day off". I was even told to do my reset at a truckstop in Illinois, and the company yards in Louisville and London, KY. I went from July 8 to mid-August with ZERO days off.

The equipment is nice the way it was ordered: satellite radio, fridge, satellite TV and APU. I could never get any work done on it, though, because I was always away from the yard. Nice equipment does NOT make up for not being home to take care of what needs taking care of and getting time away from the truck to relax.
