Keasbey NJ Tanker position

    I am considering a position at the Keasbey NJ yard pulling tankers. Just wanted to get some information on running either Regional or OTR from this location.

    Will they keep you busy?

    I know the slow season is creeping up on us but on average do they have the work to keep you running and making $'s?

    Appreciate any and all information you can provide.

    thats a good area to stay busy,even in the slow months. i worked for superior and they had a terminal at the tank wash there under the bridge, i think it was called perth amboy or something like that. there always tanker freight in that area.good luck and keep us informed.

    Both will keep you busy. My home terminal is Keasbey, too. Otr is more flexible due to home time. You can run three weeks and take 7 days off. Regional you get weekends as days off. I prefer otr.

    Thanks for the info. Does Schneider have any common lanes they run you. Do you run 48 lower or do they keep you east of I 35?
    Just trying to get as much info as possible so I can decide which way to run, OTR or Regional.

    Home time is not an issue, running and making a decent paycheck is my priority, hopeful I will be able to do both at Keasbey.

    most if the time it's a business triangle - Houston - Chicago - NJ. Money-wise - you will clear 800-900 doing otr or regional.
