Keep volvo or sale

OK I guess this will probably be my last post update. I decided to sale that Volvo since I could never really get warmed up to it. Guess it being a Volvo and all and that I've had bad experiences with Volvo in the past and all and not to mention I didn't have a boat load of cash in the bank to take up the slack.. Ended up getting around 9600 for it after being on craigslist for around 2 months. had several people come buy and look at it with similar thoughts as mine on it which I understood. The guy who bought it recently called me up and ask me to get him a copy of the title because he'd lost it. So i did and was able to talk to him a bit. He said he'd put around $16000 into it so far and thinks it's ready to work now. He said he had taken it to some mom and pop shops that had jerked him around and so he ended up taking it to the Volvo dealer. said he had to get the exhaust replaced as it was badly rusted and he also had the entire egr system replaced also and new shocks and brake work. and he may have mentioned something about injectors also can't remember exactly. Anyways so that at least post pones my oo dreams at least for a little while. From what I can tell if your going to run your own truck you need to be wiling to be otr and me having a family and all am not willing to do that. maybe when they move out but until then I'll probably stick to my local gig that at least pays the bills and gets me home most nights. I appreciate all yall's suggestion on the subject. I have saved some of my favorite responses for motivation for later once I decide to go further with the whole oo deal. Be safe.

 

Right, that's what I told him too. I would have had that thing deleted for sure. of course Volvo probably wouldn't have done that, he would've had to have taken it back to the mom and pop shop..
