Whats a long nose none mirror hood?

I remember one of the trucking companies @shogun drove for, the hood was actually a hologram because of the amount of hood damage incidents.

The bad thing is they could not mount bug shields on there, due to the hood being a hologram. Many drivers just ended up putting taller rookie sticks on and bolting the bug shield in between them.

However, it did cut down on insurance claims for hood damage.

Really? I’ve been driving since 1986 and don’t do that and somehow I never hit anything.

Flat paint would be "none mirror". With the drop visor, he rolls his window down at red lights and listens for honking to know the light turned green.

I never knew what a Pete was till I looked it up. Google came up with a picture of an old sailor and a picture of a truck.

The hood on this truck is very wide. Are these things even legal to drive?

When @Humblepie drove that truck, you could see the oil stain from his forehead pressed against the windshield looking down at the road. (The back surgery he had after driving that truck was still worth it)

On the highway you want to be looking forward most of the time. What’s behind you does not matter. What’s ahead of you is what you are liable for. However, you want to be careful about the traffic merging onto the highway.
