This week then for you is out of the norm I take it. I ran across a few of the drivers this afternoon and everyone seemed content. I found out one thing today. In July last year I had a warning ticket for going 62 in a 55. It isn't on my MVR but it is reflected in another report and she said it will show up on my CSA 2010 report also. What B.S. in my mind.

Did you have to take an agility test for Trimac as well?

I had to put on some kind of a heart monitor strap across my chest and then a watch that indicated my heart beat after every excercise. They start with taking your blood pressure and pulse. You then do a step, step excercise for a minute, then step up from the ground to the second rung on a ladder repetitively. Then you have to carry a crate with I think 25 lbs back and forth in the room twice for about 30 feet. He then adds another 25 lbs and you repeat. You have to do the same with a crate of weights on a middle shelve. First you take it from the middle shelve to the lower shelve three times and then from the middle to the upper shelve three times. You then have to crouch under a ladder for a minute doing that two times. You have to walk across a 2x4 heel to toe and then side to side and then backwards last. You finish up by pushing on some kind of a device and then you also pull as hard as you can. You do both excercises three times. It's all big fun. After each excercise, he checks the "watch" to record your heart beat. He didn't even tell me if I passed or not. He said they would fax the results to the company. I was sure ready for a beer after all that. LOL.

I guess Trimac has this in place as do other companies. It is supposed to see if you can do the normal everyday activities. I did n't know until before hand that heart rate, etc.. was involved. I had some that were at 173 and I am not sure at 51 years old if that is normal or bad.

Is there that much of a difference between the two types of tank driving. I am also starting to wonder if Trimac's name is on this company, but it is run seperately. It is a very SMALL depot. I guess I would just train out of Portage, no one has said anything about going to Texas.
