    Your right

The sad thing is it's not the company

    It's Trimac

And I hope folks that read this thread understand that I'm happy with trimac ... It just fell apart after I came back to KY

That is another question I had. Throughout their recruitment process, everything has "safety bonus" printed on it. djf has a safety bonus as do other Trimac locations. When I asked in Portage, they said "we don't have that yet, but we will in the future". How does that work?

Did is wrong about higher bonus at the union terminal
Most terminals have a 8% bonus for safety

The only thing I get by paying whatever it is to join is this

$10.00 per hr more on Deimurge
From 25.00 reg to 35.00 union

    100.00 more on a layover
    150.00 reg to 250.00 union

    Mileage is exactly the same
    110 loaded
    0.90 MT
    Union or not

    FSG is the same

Bonus is the same at 8%

    Fuel discount is the same

Above is the only change , as to your question Toby I would ask them bout the 8% Perfomance & Safety Incentive that's what it's called or just call Houston which is the USA operations headquarters
I just not sure about dry bulk , what I post here is just strictly liquid
So with saying that it should be mostly the same I'd think but for better clairifaction I'd call Houston talk to US payroll and ask those pay questions as they pertain to dry bulk

    Thanks fish ...

I'm not out to bash them but it needs to be told so others CO or IC don't loose their shirts .. Such as I have over this

You don't stand a chance when it's slow you will starve I warn you know
    That's why I'm out ...

You may get flashes of work when it's busy
Key word : Flashes - Aka a glimpse

But when it's slow as stated by a union worker on here it's seniority on Friday
    What will you get ...?

Let me answer for you ... Nothing

    Then Monday maybe ???? Nothing

    Might be tuesday

Ok you get out Tuesday on a dedicated load then return Friday morning
Same routine ... Eventually you will run out of money like I did
This is true it's not a fabrication of the facts

You will starve when it's slow .. If you can live off of a 400-500 weekly gross then by all means take off .. I've got a buddy there that pulled off a whole 128.00 net check 4 weeks ago as a CO driver who is 4 slots above me on the board maybe 6

DiF works at the exact terminal I do ..

The liquid side does have a 8% safety bonus

The dry bulk side I just can't speak with 100% positive information
I can only assume in regards to dry bulk side but Houston can give you 100% details on the safety program

I think I need to ask alot more detailed questions of them if they call me back. If I don't hear one way or another by Wed, I will call the office manager.

I would ... But Houston would also be a good avenue to contact cause the make the pay guidelines , etc

I'm sorry I can't tell you more about dry bulk side if you need houstons number to call just ask they are real nice people there .. And they will be glad to andwer your questions ..
