They do affect Calvert Owner Opps, but I've been in contact with a few of your stewarts to help minimize the blow at terminal 22 . I passed the info on to them for your up coming negotiations for the new contract

    Holy Christ.
I am glad I dont haul on a per mileage base.

And the fuel sur charge is way out of line. Todays FS should be somewhere around .48~.50 cpm
I know shippers are ######## about fuel costs but when you brake it down per loaded goods it dont add that much to the cost of 1 truck load.

Take a tank load of product
    say 7500 gals
    A 1500 mile trip
    FS of .50 per mile
    750.00 for the trip
.10 cents added to the cost of 7500 gallons

Not long ago I hauled a load of onions and they were ######## about the FS on them. When it was broken down per onion it added .02 cents. When I pointed that out they didnt have anything else to say.

Good luck with your new lease.

I no longer support TRIMAC as I once did ...

So for that I will post this statement and in a few days make a more clear determination to as why I no longer support them ...

All I can say is if you look a few pages back when CHALUPA made his remarks about why he left the company ( read ) I defended them but come to find out
CHALUPA was 100% spot on in his acessment and I found that out the hard way

Trimac has lost some accounts.. and taken a huge hit on their FSG thus passing it on to their O/O and coming out with a NEW pay package which I laid out just a few short posts ago . The pay package is 1 reason I no longer will support TRIMAC but not the only I will detail you more in a few days as I said until then if you are a owner op looking at trimac and you see the new ad here are a few questions you should ask as far as pay is concerned if they don't answer them look at my pay outline above ( a few posts ) and you will see as to why

    New Trimac AD :

    1.30 loaded
    0.92 empty
    Plus FSG
    No charge for Qualcomm

    Questions :

    1. What is the FSG based on and what is it as of today ?

    2. The no charge Qualcomm what does that mean ?

Let me elaborate on this a bit . They charge you 2240.00 for the Qualcomm deducted at 53.00 a week but at your 2 yr aniversary date with trimac it states you get a full reimbursement for the QC unit ... Note ... Be sure that's in your contract some say it my new one DOES NOT say that .. My old one DID
But they do charge you for it just FYI :

    3. Is the 1.30-0.92 rates good on dedicated ?

Short answer is NO it's 1.23 -0.78 I think or 0.88 but be sure you ask cause they pull allot of dedicated freight

    4. What's today's FSG ... ?

Based off the NEW pay and NEW contact on a 3.86 avg fuel cost by the DOE your FSG would by 0.26 loaded and Empty

    Fuel discounts ?

They got them but look at a 0.30 pump saving on avg some less I've seen it to
0.12 your looking At best 0.05 CPM maybe 0.06 so is that a deciding factor ? I'd say not

I'll post more latter as stated

    Thanks for reading

I do not work for Trimac but they have trucks contracted to the company I work for and there is one of their co. drivers running the same accounts that I run ..he is making .38cpm i am making .4675 cpm he is making $17.00 hourly and I am making $21.56 hourly he is sleeping in an International 9200 I am sleeping in the Holiday Inn after chatting with him from time to time I dont think I would be interested in working for trimac ...also if customers are on strike he is expected to cross picket lines....not my cup of tea....

Just heard a commercial on XM about Trimac
    Maybe you have too ??

    Avg 1.68 per mile

I wish they would break that down for me

    1.30 loaded + 0.26 FSG = 1.56

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh haaaaaaaaaaa

    Plus 0.10 safety bonus ... = 1.66

    Plus fuel network 0.02 = 1.68 loaded

Don't believe the hype ... Because it just is not so !!!

And like I said before in this thread
That BONUS ... The speak of is QTRLY and has way to many variables in it to consider it wage ... Yes you MAY qualify for it but read the fine print in your NEW contact that you will be signing ...

    1.68 loaded ( with bonus + fuel network )
    1.28 empty ( with bonus + fuel network )

This is including FSG not Plus FSG so don't get it confussed
    This includes FSG

And I'm not on a anti trimac spill here but
To hire drivers you need to state the facts and tell the truth and that advertisement is a complete false ...

Not even close to true numbers ...

But if you add in variables it is some what close loaded

Here is what you can really expect and trust me I know

    1.56 loaded
    1.18 empty

This will vary plus or minus ( 0.05 ) with fuel

The bonus is simply that ( A BONUS )

The real numbers are the facts ... Not inflated recruiter numbers to get you in the door

    Nothing really just

    1. They have not paid me for 4 loads I ran my last week on the job
    Aprox 2200 in revenue

    2. Denied my bonus because I de- leased my unit 1 day before bonus pay out but was entitled to over 900.00 in revenue for that

    3. The last load I pulled that I was paid on 1033.77 ( rev earned ) and it was applied toward my Qualcomm unit I had to purchase and as set out in my lease it was to be paid 53.00 weekly but they made a
" accounting error " which to the date of my truck being deleased 3 weeks latter still an " ERROR " on Trimacs part

    4. I was over charged for my QC unit it was purchased used and not new
The uses unit I purchased was to be charged as 1650.00 and the new ones sold for 2147.00 I had paid on my last settlement over 1800.00 for the unit with my last injection of 1033.77

    5. Fuel discount ... Sometimes worked sometimes did not you really had to watch it I had over 6 receipts that the discount was to be over 0.30 per gallon and I got less than a 0.05 discount ... Not bad but they use the discount program as part of the pay package . To date I was over charged roughly $250.00 over the discounted rate

    6. Then the new pay package ( listed in earlier posts )
