kenworth blower problems

    Hey everyone i have a 94 kenworth t800 tractor the blower motor/fan for some reason turns on for a while then shuts of then trunes on and off it will do this the whole time the heat is on anyone have any ideas as of what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.. Happy newyear

    It could be be a few things. The blower motor itself could be bad, when the brushes wear out they come on and off. The bushings could be tight causing to to draw too much power kicking the breaker, then it resets and starts up again. It could be just a weak breaker kicking on and off. It could be the relay acting up.

    The blower motor is the most common problem. Get a meter on it and see if the blower is losing power when it does it. If it still has power and ground when it quits, the motor is your issue.

    most likely the motor, when it gets hot it shuts off or gets too weak to turn, when they cool they are able to turn again. sounds like the probem

    My blower has a small crack allow engine smells to flow to the sleeper. I never using unless to defrost the windshield. For the sleeper, I use my webasto.
