Have a T660 and really like it. Have 62" sleeper that I like. If I go with a 680 or 880 sleeper options are 52 or 76 or basically too small or too big. We are regional.
Can still get a new T800.
Seems odd they added models and only dropped the 660 which seems more aerodynamic than the 800.
Is there anything that has been improved in the 680/880 over 660/800 that a guy should lean that way? Resale would be better on which?
The salesman said they are flirting with bringing back the 660 for a retro build for a while? Anybody else hear that?

Go with the T800 hands down the best and most versatile truck there is. The t680/880 have a wider cab and different dash layout which are nice in there own but the old narrow cab on the T800 are just like a nice glove fit. The only thing that I don't like about the T680/880 is that they don't offer a 2 piece windshield which you can on the T800.

T800 is my 2nd favourite KW model (C500 is #1).

I don't know about resale. A guy who is looking for a vocational type truck likely wouldn't touch a 660/680. But one of those dry van hauling MPG chasers probably wouldn't give a T800 a 2nd glance. 2 different classes of truck IMO.

The way of measuring sleeper size has changed. I've been told that what used to be 60" sleeper, measured from the front wall of a modular sleeper is now a 76" sleeper, measured from where the back wall would be if it were a modular sleeper.

What is trucks intended use? And F.Y.I., they were building some of T800's in Mexico since Chillicothe went to all T680/T880/W990.
