With sealed beams, the aim needed adjusting more, in my experience.
Cascadia uses 2 h11 for stock low beam, and 2 more for high beam, use 55 watt bulbs and aim them properly, not real difficult. I have switched the high beam bulb to low in cases where the low beam bulb had burned out.
The higher wattage bulbs available burn up the wiring harnesses.
Approaching polished stainless doors on low beam, you can tell when they are set too high.Last edited: Dec 25, 2016

The Pete 579 I'm driving has LED headlights. I think low beams only. They are not that good for distance. And the base of the LED humms you can feel it vibrate. And it gets hot. I thought LED did not need high energy or make heat. I'll get pics later.

Try to adjust them, but not too high! -
I drove a T680 for awhile and it was horrible. I replaced the lights and it was still horrible. The Crapcadias I drove were better but still had insufficient reach ahead for safe driving at 65. The Volvo 780 I have now is the only one of the three with adequate forward illumination IMO. Get a Volvo and eat some carrots.
