There's nothing wrong with argument if it's conducted in a civil manner.. Hearing different opinions can be helpful for people trying to make up their minds.
Gathering and sharing information is why we're here and the forum does a great job of that.
But when the argument degenerates into personal attacks and insults it's no longer helping the members.
Just because a person doesn't agree with an opinion doesn't justify insulting and demeaning them.
When a person resorts to insults they've already lost the argument and contributed nothing of any value. -
Amen brother! Preach it!
I might add that courtesy, civility, and consideration go a LONG way to making a safe driver. -
If you switch to brighter lights, they have to be readjusted. Most people that switch to a brighter light dont readjust their aim and wind up blinding oncoming traffic which creates a hazard. -
I’ve been seeing some headlights lately that seem to have a “stray beam” literally pointing up into the sky. You see this easier when there is a light fog layer. The other evening I counted perhaps 5 trucks that has this going on inside of a few hours. But when you got closer to them, their headlights appeared normal. Not sure what’s up with these.
But I like the factory LED headlights on our newer freightliners. They work better in fog and don’t reflect back as bad in fog when on high beam, and they will cut through some dense fog and illuminate reflectors way out front that low beam just won’t cut. -
Light bar = moron. Kills distance vision.
Phillips Xtremevision covers bases.
And remember that lamps wear down before they wear out.
