Just joined the forum because I couldn't find this answer. I have a 2016 t680 with the tv wall mount. The truck had 146,000 Mike's o.j. out when I received it (no complaints, it drives beautifully site from the turning circle compared to the Cascadia). Unfortunately there are no instructions for the tv wall mount.
I know what you're thinking. Of I can't figure out how to install 4 machine screws, what am I driving a truck for. Problem is, I have it mounted but there's a strap that doesn't seem to do anything, coupled with a bolt on the back that also doesn't seem to do anything (other than press into the strap which is too short to wrap or anything else for that matter).
Now the back of the mount says (on an upside down sticker I might add) "WARNING Securely tighten screw before operating the MoreView mount." the sticker is right next to the bolt on question.
Secondly, another sticker on the table below the mount says "TV mount must be in the stowed and locked position while driving." I'm guessing I have it in the stowed position, but it's certainly not locked by any stretch.
Is there a manual for this mount? Or a good set of pictures. Am I perhaps missing components?
Kenworth T680 TV mount instructions?

That stap is to pull the lock off the bolt. When clipped together. It is locked for transport
-
So it serves no further purpose? Why can't it be removed and how do I lock this mount down when I'm driving?
-
It's good to keep so the arm is locked and all the bumps won't bend, crack, or pull the mount off along with your tv. It increases the integrity of the mount. Just fold the arm and push back until the lock catches the bolt. You might have to pull the strap at the same time to get the bolt into placeTakieda Thanks this.

Ahh ok. Really had to pull the locking arm up hard to lift it over the bolt, but now it makes sense. Thanks.

Anytime.

good to know... I am currently in a 2014 Volvo which didn't have the flat screen mount but I will need to remember this if I get ungraded.
Thanks for asking the question. -
Is anyone else's darn near impossible to get the lock off the bolt just by pulling on that strap?
I swear it takes about 80 lbs of pressure on mine...jahnneysazftw92 Thanks this. -
