You know what's sad Hammer...?? Of my 12 Vintage farm tractors only 2 have paper element air filters, all the rest have oil bath air filters :biggrin_2559: Ya gotta love it. My 1969 MF 150 and the 1969 Oliver 1550 are the 2 with paper. And of course the 77 4200 Transtar has a 8V92 so..... Lol

    MJ1657 and Hammer166 Thank this.

The truck in my avitar had an oil bath air filter on it. I changed the oil in it when I first bought the truck.

How about the emergency kill switch? Maybe it started backwards.

Mine had a cable you pulled when that happened. Only ran backward one time when I choked it down while manuvering in a tight location that was uphill.

Reminds me of the O'l White we had to shuttle trailer in the CSX yard in Raceland, KY years ago. It was red and white with a cummins, and it is still going too. It is now owned by Martin Steel.

Not an oiled filter, an oil bath filter. Entirely different animal.

That old '66 White had a 250 Cummins in it. The next truck I bought was a '72 Brockway with a 318. From one powerhouse to another. lol

    OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this.

my tungsten disulfide showed up today. this is the stuff that makes mocroblue slick. It is supposed to attract to metal but not to itself therefore naturally forming a coating. IDK what I'm gonna do with it for sure. might just dump some in a chainsaw or lawnmower and see what happens.
