Seems like it would be pretty easy to add a clutched pulley to that setup to give you the traction of a power divider but the highway efficiency of a tag.

    Tim Helper 9+ MPG PLUS

[h=6]Time to replace the FASS pump motor with my collection of them since 2004. The bigger one is a 220 gph unit that made no difference on my truck. I replaced with 150 gph unit that is plenty for my 9+ MPG truck.I bought the replacement motor from KLM Performance that is a FASS dealer. The original pump and other replacement 220 gph motor came from Pittsburgh Power that I would have got this replacement from if it were not for the way they treated KathyHage JeffWolter with the Signature Truck failure.Until PP steps up to the plate and reimburses them for their repairs I will avoid any future business with Pittsburgh Power. Time we stand together with Jeff and Kathy on this.

On that system all 4 tires on each side would pull together, but not both sides as in a posi unit because of (spider gears)... Be like a dozer in a sense. It was weight reducing but not sure how efficient it would be. The perfect truck has yet to be made, but if it ever is I'm sure it will be a knowledgable person that has earned his iron butt patch setting in the saddle, not a desk jockey. Numbers on paper are one thing but the real world is a different playing field, to many variables. Just thinking out loud.

Yeah, he piped up as soon as the analysis came back with no trace of MB on the bearings. He may have his faults (like all of us,) but at least he spit out the Koolaid when things came to light.

I think you are missing the point entirely. It matters a huge amount... no, not in measures of friction loss... but in measures of 'nail in the coffin' fraud.

PP can maybe weasel out of not actually installing the MB main and rod bearings, but if it was also shown that the MB trans parts were never installed (even after we all saw the pics of them sitting on the assembly cart), then that, imo, would be a slam dunk for a massive case of blatant & intentional fraud, with literally zero defense.

I guess I missed it, how are they excusing the absence of MB main/rod bearings?
