    You guys are claiming massive amounts of plastic trucks end up being exported instead of rebuilt. Yet can only point to a few. KR at times is full of BS, you guys call him out. Then throw your TA counter urban legends on top of it. This is becoming healarious!

    From 2009-2011, the RORO ports were full of trucks being exported. That's part of the reason used truck prices are so high right now. Overseas buyers were buying trucks for dimes on the dollar at that time. Volvo and Freightliner were the most popular exports due to familiarity for Volvo and the Mercedes ownership of Freightliner. With our strong dollar currently, I imagine exports have currently come to a halt with the exception of specialty needs like an Argosy.

    Kevin pushes products, which I don't really have a problem with. He has a radio show and its up to me to use my own brain to decide if it's money I want to spend or not. My problem is he throws numbers out and tells everyone the benefit like the entire industry is doing the exact same thing. It's not a one size fits all solution, the problem is that he gets the inexperienced to follow everything he says.

    I could call his show and give him bits and pieces of info that for most would be horrible but for what I do it's not bad.

    Hi Kevin. I have an '03 FLD120 with a 12.7 and a 10 spd. Last year my fuel mileage was 5.27 for the year and my fuel cost was right at 74 cents a mile.

    He would go right into how there's something major wrong. That I need to buy XYZ to get it up to 8 where it should be. And he'd do all that and probably hang up before I got the chance to tell him that it's a flattop with a 280" wheelbase and I pull a cow trailer with 10 foot of sleeper gap. Same with my tires. He tell me to park and call road service out without knowing how much gravel I run and that I'm not going to destroy $650 Michelin's running rock roads.

    So I guess what I'm getting at is its not as simple as he makes it seem. But he knows he has a following that will do whatever he says. Bring on the Flow Below.
