Jeff and Cathy in their final debriefing claimed they were not taking legal action against PP. They wanted nothing more to do with them.

I agree that if they paid to have the microblue put on, and they paid PP extra over the cost of a crate motor, and it wasn't done, they have a clear cause of action. Maybe microblue, because of KR didn't want to throw PP under the bus and say unequivocally "these bearings were never treated". Without microblue saying that, how could they prove they were never installed?

He addressed all of these questions. And Bruce and KR did a show on this with a bunch of bs excuses.
Maybe rather than being a shill for Bruce like I thought you were, you just don't know what you are talking about....

OK. Here is Jeff commenting on the Track That Truck Facebook page....

    Q) What is the explanation for lack of MicroBlued on bearings?
    A) The fact that we did not receive MicroBlued rod or main bearings gives us more reason to not trust PP. We paid for the bearings and did not receive them. You just cannot explain away the THEFT of our MicroBlued rod and main bearings.

The cam bearings had MicroBlue. There are pictures of the engine being torn down. Where it was done does not look like a very clean environment to me.

Lawsuits are public record a simple Google search would show all lawsuits filed against pittsburgh power. As for money being refunded, that has possibly happened and possibly not. We will never know.

My whole point in this thread had been that this truck was kevins project, not bruce. Pp is only responsible for doing the work they were paid to do, they are not responsible for any damage caused by those products simply because they do not manufacture them nor do they even endorse them.

The whole micro blue thing is the only thing a guy could pin on them, and is s big enough thing(moneywise) that i can't believe for a second anyone would just eat it and not use or civil court system.

This whole deal was rotten. A greenhorn wasnt smart enough to do any of his own research and let himself be a guinea pig for unproven technologies. And he let his ego(or is it pride? Over confidence? Whatever, you get the point) get the best of him cause he wanted to be viewed as a leader/forward thinker with these new products. He holds 99.999 percent of the responsibility for making these bad decisions.

Kr is basically a salesman, he did what any saleman would do so i don't really blame him more than i would blame any salesman for making a sales pitch.

Pp is an engine shop. They specialize in building high powered engines. And they have a long track record of being at the top of the field doing this. Like any shop, they will do whatever you want. You want unproven tech Evans being put in your engine...ok. they will do it and do it right. It's your truck and your money. But don't go crying saying its their fault the coolant caused the engine to melt down. So again, i put no blame on them cause they did exactly what any so would do. You can argue they should have pushed harder to get jeff to install a pyrometer but it's such a common sense thing i can easily understand why they assumed the guy knew he needed one. Heck, for all they knew he had one sitting in his garage and was putting it in the day he picked the truck up.

It's kinda like if you being your 12.7 detroit to me and want me to make it or or more power. No problem. I can slap a borgwarner turbo, manifolds, marine injectors and cam in it. If you rip the clutch out hammering down at a red light with 50k on the bed...not my fault you didn't have the common sense to realize your little 10 speed and 1550 ft lb clutch needed to be banned with all that new power you got. Just like it's not bruces fault jeff didn't have the knowledge and common sense to watch his gauges, or even what guages he needed.

So what is the possiblity/feasiblity/legalness of just taking say a 1984 w-900 or K-100 and just putting a cat 3406 in it? (Yes, my point is related to this thread......)
