If the truck lived up to promises, it would have penciled out in 4-5 years compared to a new truck (remember they drive team). But it hasn't been more reliable and it hasn't gotten better mpg than an off-the-lot Cascdia evo...

For what its worth, I do think they'll have a solid 9+ mpg truck when they get the engine running right. And once it is done right, it should be more reliable than any epa 2010 model... Granted, they could have got a reliable 9mpg glider for $135,000, but I'm sure they've enjoyed the popularity that came with having the "signature" truck.

Was that engine rated at 500/1650 or was it cranked up...?

 

What bothers me are the people still drinking the Kool aid after this. PP and KR could say they botched it on purpose and still double their sales. I truly am baffled by the people who can't think for themselves...
