relocate to texas from ny? what a transition. couldn't you work for a company that can set you home everyday locally maybe relocate to jersey rather.

What is the pay that is making you think to relocate? I don't understand Texas has enough drivers out there, why pay someone that lives thousands of miles away to drive a tanker? Something don't seem right.

Key has operations all over Texas. They are a large oil field services company hauling drilling fluids, frac materials and, I believe crude from gathering operations. They've been doing a lot of advertising lately.

Cleburne and Granbury are 30 or so miles south of Ft. Worth. Mostly flat scrub type country. Decent towns, fairly industrial and nothing like a Brooklyn boy is used to. Cleburne has a nuke plant and several cement plants. Will be tough finding NY pizza!
