When I got my cdl with swift I immediately went to a dedicated route, I mean even my road training was done on the dollar general dedicated. I also got my dedicated route with CR England as soon as I finished thier training, so getting a dedicated route is nothing hard.

Because you're not officially an employee the $580 covers the hotel stay for the 3 weeks and the road test at the end. After that they don't take anything out of your paycheck. You just have to log 120,000 miles and you're done.

With Prime the only up front cost you have is 150.00, 100.00 processing and 50.00 for your learners permit. The hotel and food are free. If you wash out in the first week everything is free. After you get your learners and go out with a trainer prime will front you 200.00 per week for food and toiletries. After you get your license you are automatically hired then you get the 600.00 a week guarantee. I always got more because we ran our butts off. During training I averaged about 750.00 a week. So will you.

Hey Dodge what was fast in the 80's and 90's. I really don't think they had the fastest trucks out there but then again your understanding of fast and mine might be different. The only thing I have to say is that I felt kind of bad tearing the paint of the Prime trucks in those days and looking in the mirror and seeing them trying to maintain control and keeping it in the right lane. I really doubt those days had anything to do with the FEDS and Prime.
