Hello, Im due to get my CDL physical renewed. It was a 2 year card. Had a small kidney stone a year ago due to not staying hydrated. No recurrences since I am drinking more fluids.

I know im supposed to disclose if I had a kidney stone......., will the clinic deny me and make me get a urologist report or something? Thanks, Dave

    No stones. No problem Eh?

It did not happen Driver. Carry on. Drink up. Keep the owie away.

Medical is one thing. That long form. no to everything. Don't volunteer a #### thing. It's not evasion if it is not happening while the doctor is looking you over. Don't worry. If there is something REALLY risky you will be caught and told to go home.

Frankly I think it's a Damascus sword over your head, There are times you cannot hydrate in trucking for a half day or more. IF I were you... put 4 cases of the best bottled water under your bunk and keep it there. It would be embarrassing to be caught out going to surgery to bust stones and find out you already have a hsitory of it 2000 miles from home.

Stone are not funny. Hang in there.

Well $75 wasted, I went in this morning after not sleeping and hungry so that made my bp a little high so they gave me a 3 month card. Last month at my regular Dr my BP was 120/80.

You can put down your kidney stones. I've had them and pancreatitis ... never any questions about it.

Not really, nobody cares. Check in to a hospital, get 'em busted out, drive for a week with a catheter - actually kinda convenient - go to the shower, pop the balloon, remove the catheter and drive on.

Go somewhere else to get tested when you feel your bp is normal.
You can go to most walmart stores and in pharmacy section they have free bp test.
I have high bp so I monitor my bp weekly.

and this was a waste of money because????On the bright side at least you're still eligible to drive. In 3 months maybe you'll be upgraded to a year.
