I think he was referring to a reimbursement for the TSA fingerprinting and background check fee, which some companies do reimburse. My last company did, anyway.

    Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this.

Swift reimbursed me for all costs to get my Hazmat. It's an incentive to get more drivers that can service some of their customers. At the same time I took the Hazmat test I took all the endorsements.

    Bob Dobalina Thanks this.

There you go with the excuses again. There are 168 hours in a week. Subtract 60 hours for work and 70 hours per week for rest, that leaves you with 38 hours. Now subtract another 20 for misc stuff and you are left with 18 hours a week. Get it done and quit with the excuses that you are tired.

Most of us have been there and done that, even more. Before I got into driving it was not uncommon for me to work 80-100 hours per week especially in my younger days. You are not going to get validation from this crowd.

I think OP already indicated he's knuckling down to study. I expect good news from him soon.

After I passed Tankers and Doubles the guy at DMV told me to tell my employer I will need a truck to do a driving test for HazMat. I never heard such thing before...

Btw, my boss said I will not get a reimbursement, which is completely fine. He said endorsements were a requirement and they are my responsibility to maintain.

    Good stuff !!
