Kids, could I get fired for not getting endorsements ?

I didn't, but I'm in Ohio. I think @Lepton1 said he didn't have to in California. It sounds like we all just took the written test after getting the go-ahead from the TSA.

 

I think somebody has misunderstood or is out right being deceptive. I know of no state that requires a hazmat driving test. It would help if you would tell me what state we are talking about. If you don't want to say in public then would you please PM me.

Don't take the truck. There is no driving test. Only a written test.

It's no wonder you are getting bad information from the DMV in California. They're clueless. After you pass the written exam you need to go to get fingerprinted. I remember in the greater LA area there are only a handful of places.

Where in CA are you?

 

They won't ask for a truck. Hazmat is a knowledge test only.

 

So you can take the written there before doing the fingerprinting? It was the opposite here. Or maybe I just never heard that was an option.

 

The procedure varies by state. In il you must fingerprint first
