So you work what, 60 hours per week? That leaves 108 hours. Sleep for 8 hours but let's round it up to 10 per day for other things. That leaves 38 hours. Quit the social life and get it done. Why lose a good job because you wanted to have fun. I bet if you turned off the TV and stayed off of Facecrack you would have plenty of time to study.

I don't watch much tv these days. I don't even use my cell as much anymore. This job is taking all my time and energy , but I love it here.

I'm working 13-14 hours a day. By the time I get home , usually 11 pm; I'm exhausted. But I'll open the book this weekend for sure

    I think a different way.

They hired you without those endorsements, so THEY should take it seriously.

You can't work a lot of overtime while studying, and they should regulate your schedule to allow you the time to do so.
Or you should force them to, if your job is relying on getting that.

I'm also wondering how much of your driving would be done doing hazmat, doubles-triples or tankers.
Do they require it because the drivers do it all the time, or just a little?

I got all those endorsements before I was hired, but I've only used the HM a few times.
    The others, never.

When I changed my license over to MN I didn't bother to renew the hazmat.
I didn't get paid enough more for those loads to justify the cost or bother.
2 or 3 HM loads per year for $25 extra, while it costs me more in both time and money?

Then both your bonus AND JOB are at risk.

So if you don't find the time to study then you will have plenty of time to study after your sixty day deadline passes.

This is the educated answer I was hoping for !!!!
Honestly, I don't think I'll be needing doubles or triples (ilegal in Cali, 3x that is), I don't carry HM much either, nor does that company.

I will get them eventually, but I don't think they can fire me right after day 61 for not getting them... Who knows, I could be wrong

It's cool, I always have a plan B. The way I see it, they need me more than I need them. But I do want to make them happy though

    I missed that part.

You might be hosed if you can't stop the overtime.

You are wrong... They might not but yes they certainly can... You said yourself that you signed a paper stating that your job and bonus were not secured until you get your endorsements... So they hired you "conditionally" until you obtain your endorsements.

If you like the job and the coworkers why risk it.

But hey, there are other jobs out there too.

    Good Luck

In a previous life I installed and upgraded phone systems. I was also one of the best troubleshooters in the office so I got the really nasty crap to fix. The reason for this? I studied a lot on top of working 60-80 hours a week. When a certification came up that I wanted I did without. Sometimes it was setting aside 4-8 hours on a day off.

Heck an hour a day and more on the off day just going through the tests on this site will be enough to help you pass the tests.

When I started out I did not have my doubles or tanker endorsements. When I was ready, one week on this site and then I took both tests and passed. A week later I was pulling belly dump trains and a month after that I was pulling our 8 axle lowboy.

If you want it bad enough, you CAN find the time.
