Just curious, anyone have any info on their background check? I had a couple of things in the mid to late 90's, one of them a felony that was dismissed and another from 1996 that will get dismissed thru the 1203.4 procedure. Nothing violent or anything like that, just stupid drug related stuff. Been clean and sober for 16 yrs now, and a squeaky clean background since 99. Just wondering if its worth the time to apply only to get turned back cuz of some very old crap.

 

Bro you should be in the clear. Last legal trouble I had was in 2009 and that never came up in the report (I got a copy of everything they pulled on me). Then again I don't have felonies, so I wouldn't know about that. Talk to Gina Fulcher. She takes care of people, I ways honest with her about all my legal battles and personal problems (alcoholism and drugs) and she was very sincere in trying to help me. Sadly I didn't get accepted (license not vaild long enough) but it would have been great to work for them. Hear they're a great company to work for. Best of luck!!!

 

What do you mean by "license not valid long enough"? Ive never heard that before.........

 

I had just gotten my class C out of suspension in Jan, got my class A in February but since I literally just got my license back the month before I applied, they said for insurance purposes I needed to be VALID more than 3 months

 

Oh thats a drag bro, sorry to hear that. The good news is that you are moving forward and I am sure something will pop up when the timing is right. Me, I'm still in the stages of obtaining the CDL and hopefully should have it in the next few weeks......Good luck!

 

Hey whats up i am also curious about the hair follice test at kkw. Gina Said they do give them. I am going to orientation in my hair should be clean by then but im still curious. Thanks a bunch

 

From what I know they do not do a hair test. Gina was my recruiter I interviewed with them during training called her up after my drive test never heard back so I won't deal with them again.

Your hair should be clean?
Is a should be worth your CDL?
Go to a another place that for sure does Urine clean up for a good year then reapply most will pull for a full 9 month to a year hair test. if your looking to do CA regional you can go with TWT or Chinaman can tell you others like he did with me.

Not sure if you knew this but Gina does check this site. Good luck on your drug test if you have to worry about what type it is give yourself sometime then apply its really not worth losing your cdl over a failed test
