KLLM and FFE

Is that the latest truckstop skuttlebutt?

 

Word around the office at FFE, office not driver lounge, is KLLM has controlling interest in FFE, but it will still be a very long time before any changes are seen on any noticeable level.

 

FFE should be tied, mamed, tar and feathered, hung, dismembered, burried, dug up, shot, and burned at the stake.

Same exact thing was said about Western Express when I was with SMX (Smithway Motor Express)...a couple months later, the HOSTILE TAKE-OVER was astronomical, and the company went to complete crap like the company that took it over. Sad, sad turn of events...because I liked SMX and I was doing very well. When Western took full control, I couldn't leave fast enough.

 

I first heard about this last week from another driver didn't really give it much thought untill I was at the Laredo yard and seen a couple kllm trks sitting there never had seen them before, gots me wondering now.

 

FFE made the announcement this morning that the merger has in fact gone through.
