In case you have not heard yet the Terminal near Dallas has been closed they are using it for parking until its sold or whenever. I had called them about there Super Texas Reg. but I was told that its so so reg. anymore its pretty much all over you the only difference is you can "request" time off after 7 days. I had made up my mind to apply for them I have about 6 years driving under me and need a stable company. I seem to know how to pick the ones that have big layoffs or go bankrupt ...If anyone has an idea of another company that gets you home weekly please let me know...thanks:biggrin_25523:

PAMS sister company CHOCTAW is the one that just me off a year ago. They run all GM motors parts...No stability there at all!
But thanks anyway...National Carriers I have heard good things about...but at this time will not hire me...been to long...

KLLM has been trimming the fat and closing some terminals that were not as "useful" as the others. They are adding on trucks and drivers and increasing services in other areas. We were informed about this recently. There aren't too many companies out there right now that are OTR or big Region where you will make decent money going out for 7 days. They tend to keep you closer to home to get you home within the 7 day period, instead of sending you on longer runs. Since you have the experience, you might find some local work or dedicated stuff. But even some of those and the LTL trucking has been somewhat slow. I'm in a Motel with a lot of Yellow Freight/ YRC and Old Dominion guys that are going back OTR with a couple of different companies like KLLM and Total.
