I've been with the company for 9 months, in the 14 yrs I've been driving this is the worst company I've wrked for. Their fuel system is crap, asking you to run out of route to fuel, and when you don't you get message on QC that you were not in compliance. New trucks now do not come with APU's but you are limited to your idle time, or face losing your job. Somehow this seems to me that it would be against labor laws and OSHA laws when the heat is up above 80 or cold below 40. It's asking the driver to suffer and be subjected to heat stroke, how well will we sleep when it's hot 24 hrs a day? My insurance doubled, my miles are averaging 2000 per wk. To get my scheduled maintenance done I have to put in for home time... They don't take care of their equipment, and I have not seen a bonus check since I started.. My APU kept breaking down over the winter, so my idle time was high, so it cost me my bonus (even tho they couldn't keep their equipment in good running condition) and Had my job threatened. The pay may be good per mile but .43 times nothing is still nothing.. Will be leaving as soon as I can, am taking my time checking out companies, hoping to find a good 1 nxt time...
