Thanks. Have you talked to any company drivers and see how they are doing? Seeing as I will be fresh fish in the game I do not plan on doing any lease until 1. I know how to manage my funds to where after costs of everything and truck that I bring home as you said a minimum of 1000. 2. Figure out if I want to be a lease truck driver or buy my own truck and free lance. There a lot to figure out on that for me but I have time. I would like to see how company drivers are doing. And I see starting pay is at .32cpm so I was wondering after all you guys take the nice trips are there enough throw away trips for a guy like me to get a solid paycheck. I do not expect to bring in 1 grand right off the bat but getting up there in the range would be nice... I'm not joining the trucking industry for the view ya know. Thanks and I hope you have some company driver knowledge to share

When ffe was bought, and and I came over to kllm I was a company driver for about 4 months, was company driver at ffe to.I'd say I avered about 2600-2800 miles a week on company side. After deductions bring home in the 850.00 range.Company trks goverened at 62 some luck out and get a old lease trk ,leased trks goverend at 70 most run faster mines set at 73.
Its the busiest i've seen it currently since i've been with them, the thing is sometimes you have to stay on your dispatcher to keep you busy, when I first came over there was a total lack of communication but it seem to be getting better.Dont get me wrong I get frustrated too but nothings perfect, and when I get that settlement on thursday,it usally helps me get through another week. -
Thanks man. One thing i know is that they have called all of my old jobs and background check and mvr check and she said i passed so that's good. Only thing i have to worry about is some random disease or maybe blood pressure or something.

One more wuestion. What's the deal with regional? I live just north of atlanta so I am in the area. I didn't know if the miles or pay drop off. The website says 23% but I'm not really sure what that means... i don't believe my wife will allow me to be an otr driver forever but I do wish to get my experience there and then find a good local job where I am home at least weekly if not multiple times a week.

You'll be alright wheres your orientation going to be Jackson,or Dallas.

Feel free to say no but when they merged ffe drivers over did they start them out with experience pay or no?. Also I see no mention of increase as an otr driver

Lady on the phone said morrow. Which is just south of atlanta

Hell i still got to go through school. Starts saturday.

Ibeleive regional pays 73% not sure, but just depends on what driver you talk to on southeast region, some say they do good some dont. With you living in Atlanta running otr you'll most likely stay east of texas mainly mid east, alot of ohio, ill, ind ect.
