I passed, will be getting my truck tomorrow. Make sure you take anything that could help you on the test. Know the Marcos and the order to send them. Had to get use to driving a stick again. So that was part of the challenge. The other was turning on some tight streets. Had an easy 45 degree back in.

Yeah my trainer had a volvo. The volvos are all autos. And now all new freightliners coming in are autos. The company is switching to an all auto fleet.

    Velli Thanks this.

Just got assigned to a 16 volvo. From what I understand the remaining volvos are only being giving to company drivers now. If you chose to lease it has to be a freightliner.

Nice. I wonder what they will do for FFE. Do you have a load yet?

Today was a interesting day. Started my clock looking for a trailer washout. I would have just swept the trailer but customer require a washout for any trailer being dropped. It took me 2hrs to find one. Then an hour wait. I get to the customer and one of the guards had left with the remote to open the gate. That took about 30-40 mins. Once I dropped my empty I go to get hooked to my loaded trailer. My mistake was I should have gotten out the truck before backing to the trailer. My kingpin jumped my 5th wheel. That's just great. Spent about 45mins trying to get something to tilt the 5th wheel so I can just pull back out. Lucky another kllm driver came and she helped me out. Thanks wendy. Now I'm in the shop with an air leak on the truck. Only 1:53 minutes on my clock andown the TA is full.

When you took your upgrade backing test, did you back with other trucks next to your spot, or did you have alot of room?
