My hubby has worked for KLLM for over 2 years now. One of the things that I liked best about this company was that they always used to get him home on time. It seems like hometime policy has changed? Now admittedly, he doesn't pay too much attention to stuff that happens in the company. I still can't get him to find out where the pay stubs went. But hometime always used to be 1 day off for every 7 worked, must work 10 days before requesting hometime, and request hometime 7 days in advance. That must have changed? We made hotel reservations for next week and requested hometime and got a message back that hometime requests must be 10 days in advance? When did that change, and more importantly, did anything else change?

Nothing has changed. Still 7+ day notice for hometime request. I just did it and I am home. In 7+years I have been here, it has always been "at least 7 day notice for hometime request." Your Hubby needs to talk with his Dispatcher and refer them to whatever page in Handbook that states this policy.

Before he leaves the company, I can assure you that "it is not Greener on the other side". I did leave the company for 16 months and tried 2 other Companies. When I called several ol' friends back, they all said, "When are you comin back home? Are you done job-hoppin yet?" Course I came back (been 2.5yrs now) and I should have never left.

Thanks for verifying that. I don't know what the deal is about telling him he needed 10 days for hometime. I was able to change our hotel reservations, but I am annoyed nonetheless. He tries to work in even 7 day increments so he maximizes his time off, and now this puts him working 3 1/2 weeks. And as for greener pastures, he isn't looking for greener pastures, he knows KLLM is a pretty decent company, despite some of the things that have happened recently. If he leaves it will be for something completely different, and I personally think he will regret it.
