Do they make everyone do a physical at experienced driver orientation or if I already have one will they take that?

You better plan on a whole new physical.

IF you developed a medical problem now is the time to worry.

NO trucking company ever in my lifetime has accepted a prior DOT physical card. NONE.

Well you're just wrong. I've worked at two companies that accepted physicals with over a year left. I only got mine in November.

Why do people insist on replying to questions they have no clue about the answer?

    Whatagal Thanks this.

Actually I had a private pay DOT physical in January, one at a prime orientation in January, one at Roehl orientation in February, one at Schneider orientation in June, and another at my current place in July. All in 2019...
    So YMMV

Because some people, having no accurate first hand knowledge of a subject, like to make themselves feel relevant when they're not and haven't been for quite some time?

I am pretty sure they will make you get one from a Dr. they send you to.

I work for FFE (KLLM sister company) they made me get one from their preferred Dr. Also, during renewal they made me go back to their preferred clinic. Safety wouldn't accept it from anywhere else.

Let me tell you sonny about this no clue tidbit...

My trucking life is my own all the way back to the 80's Been doing battle with DOT Doctors most all that time, sometimes 6 times a year.

NEVER a company take a previous 2 year DOT card that is valid from the week before their orientation. They have to put me through their physical. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

What part of every. single. time. experiences on my end do you not comprehend?

Thats all for this morning. Too early for cheap shots mister.

Speaking of Revelence brought up by Reo I am working on a DOT exam myself here with a doctor provided two situations are taken care of, one hearing aids and other glasses. That will not take too long once this whole COVID19 BS is finished this year. With DMV Closed, and Doctor closed, I have to wait a while. Am in no hurry.

I asked about KLLM, not the companies you've worked for.
