sorry it has taken so long to get this started but my room has no wifi. anyway started orientation this past monday with physical and lots of paperwork. for you thinking of going to kllm make sure you bring all employment history to make things easier for you. they fed us all hot plate lunches all 3 days which was pretty good. day 2 consisted of alot more paperwork and discussions with the log dept and saftey dept. as long as you stay awake you are good dont fall asleep or they will send you home. Day 3 was payroll and benefits then a trip to the terminal to get assinged your trainer. if you are lucky enough to have your trainer near by you dont have to wait to much but mine was in PA in the ice storm so i am waiting on him at the hotel. so far a good experience here i will update again once i start out on the road with my trainer. thanks guys
KLLM started on monday

You're probably making more sitting in a room than driving anyway.

what does KLLM stand for?
-
K L L M stands for Kubota, Liles . Lee & Moody. I do not know of Mr Kubota however William T. Liles(Billy) started as a produce seller. Henry Moody was a driver(he went on to be vp maint at one point before retiring) . Benjamin Lee was a silent partner for quite a number of years. . I am not sure in what capacity.
Originally it was KLM. As the company got larger, about 1990, the airline. Sent a notice about the name. At that point Mr. Lee was added to the masthead. If you see any remaining trailers from that time you will notice the 2nd L is kind of squezed in.usa4freedom and zyk285 Thank this.
