What do OTR drivers have to say about KLLM? & Waggoneers? I have one year experience OTR Team and want to go SOLO. Any advice and leads would be appreciated. I have found it helpful to listen to what truckers have to say over recruiters and Company websites.

Thank You. I'll check The Glass Door. Website?. I am from California where it is not uncommon to find people who have fallen through the looking glass, if you know what I mean. So The Glass Door could be just what I am looking for. Not sure about Wal-Mart. I was born in the 60's and still remember the horror of strip malls marring the landscape and putting local business out on the street. And to my mind Wal-Mart is the "Sears" of strip malls. They have a long way to go to become people friendly, no matter how much $$$$ they pay drivers.
    O.K. Done for now.

Yeah, I was a little confused by that one myself - LOL. Let's change it to something a little more relevant.

(Started out as 'No use to use GPS ... when scouting')

What are you looking for; coast-to-coast?
A&R Logistics is good and make about $70K per year. Don't need tanker/hazmat endorsements either because they haul plastic pellets for injection molding.
Earl Henderson Trucking @ .38 cpm with a guarantee pay for 2100 miles per week minimum.
Northern Refrigerated Transportation - only run CA/OR/WA/AZ/NV/ID

But between KLLM and Waggoners, I'd go with Waggoners.

I'm with kllm right now. Every Friday for the past month I've been lucky enough to receive a 600 mile/3 day long trip. The reason why? It's a company built for lease, and I want to stay company driver, so they see justification in letting me survive off of fast food wages.

I'm a LP driver with KLLM and have no complaints. I'm fairly new to driving and came to KLLM specifically because I could lease right away and I could walk away from the lease at anytime. If you have a year or more of experience there are much better options than KLLM as far as pay especially if you want to lease a truck. I get .92 cpm plus fsc and get around 2600 miles per week on one of their easier dedicated accounts.
