Knight drivers that drove in 1998 -

I've got a an old 98 Volvo that started life with Knight Transportation. I need a couple of keys. I'm thinking most big fleets had common keys. I still have keys from back then for the company I drove for. Long shot I know, but thought I'd give it a try. Send my a PM if you can help. Thanks!

 

Seriously? You don't think I've tried? The only blanks I can find are at the dealer, $60-$100, and are on back-order. These are laser cut keys. Not many locksmiths around that have the right die, or whatever, to cut the Volvo key. Other laser keys, no problem. But, haven't found one that can cut that particular blank, even if I could find some blanks that aren't apparently made out of gold!

 

My blank is 309-1508. Go ask him about that. Laser cut. If he can make me one, I'd like his number. If he can, and he does, I'll come back here and sing your praises.

 

No I'm in outer space and don't have enough sense anyway to have tried every locksmith close to me before getting on the internet and asking. But, thank you for the brilliant suggestion.
