Knight drivers....What's your 20?

Also, one of my last runs was Bud load to the Budweiser Golden Eagle Distributor in Tucson, where I was the 'lone' Knight truck among 4 Biagi's. I commented about them having to always carry heavy loads and they said no prob since their green, new-style Pete's had 525 hp engines.

When I started w/Knight they had all 365-375 hp Centurys which had to be geared way down on hills with heavy loads. Even then, I had a couple overheat going up 2 of the 3 long hills west of the AZ/CA border on I40 toward Barstow during the summer! When Knight went to Volvos, think the hp's were around 400-420 hp, which was more acceptable. B4 working at Knight, I drove 475 hp FLD's and there was a big difference when stepping down to the Centurys & driving for Knight!!

Also got passed by Biagi's all the time in my 66 mph truck; so either ungoverned or governed 'high' (70 mph?)

Jax drop yard. Too much BS today. I will never get a reset at home with Knight. Even when logically it would be appropriate.

Why don't you get a room somewhere, and just forget trucking for a day or so? I NEVER do a reset sitting in a truckstop, it would drive me crazy, too. $50-$100, big deal if you are running hard enough to do a reset, IMHO.

I run plenty hard enough, but the bills never stop. Can't afford to stay in a hotel.
