Finally got some reasonably good news. I got an offer on my house in Montana. Not a great offer but still one I will not likely pass up. I am Ssssssooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of being in debt. I will take about a 40k hit on the investment if I except the deal since I bought high in 2005. Decision Time.

 

From Montana (cold, snow & mtns) to Florida (flat, swampy, hot & humid) must have been a huge life change! What were you doing in Montana b4 trucking?

 

Montana was a Summer Home experiment. We love Montana, it was exactly the extreme contrast to Florida we were looking for. Just really bad timing on the acquisition. Who knew the economy and housing market would crash shortly after the purchase.

 

Summer was beautiful in MT; spent a year there as a kid when my dad was in the USAF @ Cutbank....but the winter could be brutal; had 1 storm come thru that dumped 8' of snow (drifts over the roof eaves) with a lo temp of -48 F....
