Sorry to hear about the 'full plate' you have..must have been a tough last year for you (and your health prob) and family.

Altho you cant pick your runs, Georgia-Pacific in the NW isnt seasonal, but multi-stop grocery runs (not known for being 'fun') increase during the holidays. Just hope that many drivers take off over the holidays and so you will have less 'competition' for the loads that are out there....wishing you & family God's revealing grace this Christmas season...OD

Btw, were you at Knight long enuf (90 days?) for insurance to cover your wife's medical condition?

First off thanks for the well wishes, they are appreciated. About the insurance, yes but no, yes we where right at our 90 day mark but no coverage because they are switching from sigma to blue cross and it won't go into affect till January. She's might need another major surgery so least we will have coverage for that. She's not 100% yet but she's doing much better.

Home for my weekend reset. The engine in my 2013 Prostar with 50,000 miles on it blew up on Thursday morning. Luckily I was still at the Pilot when it happened. Got a lift to Indy with another Knight driver. They put me in a loaner truck until mine is fixed. Sounds like its going to be WEEKS. WTF????

Welcome to driving a truck with the Maxxfarce engine in it. Major problems every 50-100k miles are standard. Wait to get your truck back is probably do to a backlog of MaxxFarce work at the shop it is at.
