Thank you, man.
I'm old schoolish, LoL~!
UpstateFreight and Vic Firth Thank this. -
I don't know anyone that drives for J&R Schugel... And don't know anything about their business. I do know one of the owners, and although I don't know him very well, I have been around him enough to know that he is a really good guy. Its nice to see the positive comments about the company...
G13Tomcat and UpstateFreight Thank this. -
I feel like I've made a solid choice here, very different at orientation then other companies I've been too. But, I'll really be able to tell in the next few weeks. Honestly I don't see where I'll be having many problems. The drivers I've spoke to here already speak highly of the place.

That's exactly right it's.run as a franchise, only things main office do are hiring and firing based on safety. I was out of Charlotte NC terminal and had.no.good experience at all. Quit after 2 weeks.i went to.g&p for about 6 months I'm omw to j&r schugel on the 13th so we'll see but I expect good things from what I've heard

I was at Schugel for about 11.5 months. It was not a bad company. Be prepared to run lost and lost of midwest. You'll spend lots of time on 294 around chitown. Restricted toll roads on the Indian and ohio turn pike and the ny thru way. They will issue a P.O. if you need to run it. Sometimes you need it. Very easy to get around Indian toll road. They are very good about giving a P.O. for NY thruway. They run lots of Kraft loads, and you'll spend a lot of time at Americold and US cold storage if you are going reefer. I left because of they new Automatic trucks and all the bendix safety braking systems and crap. And I got tired of running between. MN,WI,IL,IN and then back to MN. They have load going to Cali but they can be hard to get sometimes in the summer months. Winter time they are easy just ask and you'll go. All in all, I would have to give them a 7.5 out of 10. Not a bad company. They treat you well and they know you by name.
