Knight tractor/trailer accident...in IA I-380/I-80 at 06:15

    I was in IA on I-380 south this morning, took the exit for I-80 east, and while I was on the ramp I look down over to my left and I see a knight truck on its side in the ditch. I'm thinking he may have taken that ramp too fast. Anyone know of this accident and if the occupants are ok?

    I searched the IA DPS accident reports, there's no report of a Knight Transportation truck accident. I did see one involving a Swift truck, and another involving a Classic Carriers.

    I'm going to go out on a limb and say if you saw a truck on it's side on a ramp chances are he was going too fast.

    I took another look at the IA DPS Crash reports and did find one involving a Knight Transportation truck. It happened on 01/22/2012, but the tractor stayed upright, the trailer separated from the tractor and laid over.

    I don' think that's the same one being asked about. I looked through the past week's crash reports. Why it is not there is unknown.

    There was a truck that sat at the bottom of the ramp too I-80 East from I-380 for almost a week sitting on its side...
