I am thinking of joining Knight out of the Kanas City terminal. I live in KCMO and was told they could have me off and at home every weekend. Is this true? Also how much can I expect to bring home with Knight on an average if I run during the week only vs. running over the road and home 2 days every other week.

not sure but was told from Elissa over there in KC they have a program to where you can work 2 weeks and be off 7 days and or 1 week on and 7 days off or 3 weeks on and 7 days off.....just depends on how much money you want to make........I live in Columbia, MO and I considered it but don't want to drive to and from KC every time I'm going home or going to work.

Yep, she told me I could work 5 days m-f and be off on the weekend to reset. I'm wondering if this is truth.

Probably your basic "local shuttle" delivery position. But I doubt seriously it is a "regional" position with that sort of "guarantee". But if it IS a regional (such as back and forth between STL and KCMO) don't expect that to last long. Those tend to end up with the more senior drivers needing home time for a variety of reasons.

I would take that deal if they offered it at the Lakeland terminal. But they don't, atleast they don't offer it to me.

If you run during the week only, you'll get all the short runs no one else wants.
You might bust $20K. If you stay OTR for weeks at a time you'll bust $30K. -
I am out of the Kansas City terminal they are very flexiable with hometime. I have a awesome driver manager there be time where he get me through the house to let me do a 34 hrs restart, or just have a day off at the house if freight is slow on the weekend.
