If you are an owner / lease operator..... what would you have done different?
Would you have stayed a company driver?
What do you wish you had negotiated for? Anything from your truck or it's financing to your relationship with your carrier that you think you would have gotten if asked......
Knowing what you now know, what would you do differently?

I would haul for a major supplier of medical products and medicine. Nothing else. Everything is futile to that point. The money takes care of itself along with everything else. It does not matter if I was just a company chump or owner operator.

I would get the accountant hired, my LLC established, and my business account opened before buying the truck. I would also buy the truck in my home state as I encountered titling problems. All these problems gave my a three week involuntary vacation but it was all well worth it.
