How is the new terminal, and how is it working for Crete?
Are their trucks neutered and do they have bad routing?
I know they don't like idling but if they all have APU';s it wouldn't be a problem.

any cretans out there know the answer(s) to this?
particularly the part about the truck... APU would be nice (preferably a diesel driven generator, but i'd even take a 10 hour battery powered climate control over the "opti-idle" turning the engine on and off all night with a buzzer that i'd find some way to unplug lol) -
I just started working for them, and a newbie on top of that, but, as far as working for them has been pretty good. The trucks do have apus, most of which being the battery powered one. as for the knoxville term, its real nice.

to sort of answer the OP's question that i think is about the engine in the trucks, would it really matter if it were 475HP or 600HP if it were a company truck that you could make pretty good money in as seems to be the case with any crete driver that actually gets in the truck and works instead of sitting around truckstops?
and i may be looking to get in a crete truck if things around here dont improve (like finding a job) -
All of the trucks are set at 61/62 mph, most pull ok. I"m not sure what the percentage of company trucks is with an APU or climate control system of some sort is, but I'd guess 60% have at least a webasto heater, or more. Whether or not the APU or whatever actually works, is another story. You can sit with crete, maybe not as often as some companies.
I don't remember if they watch you for excess miles, or not. They give you a routing, which pretty much only matters because your designated fuel stops are on the way, (or not..sometime the #### fuel stop is 10-20 miles off route) and if a toll road is on the routing they give you, that is the ONLY time they will pay for tolls.
