Kohler APU's. Anybody Running One?

Ok. What about a Rigmaster? The one with the generator on it as well? Anyone have any experience with these? I have been kicking around the idea of getting an APU as well. But dang I already have two motors to worry about. I dunno if I want a third from All the headaches I am reading about.

 

Use the wabasco for heat and get a block of ice to keep cool like the old school ice box fridges. I dunno I have no answers myself as I been looking at apus and not finding one I like.

 

Really??? People that slam my Carrier over the Tripac is that i'm connected and the Tripac isn't. I personally like the option and comes in handy being in IL winters. Was that an option or are they doing that standard now.

 

Oh man, just saw this was pulled of from years ago.

 

It's an engine, an hvac, and a generator, right ? so where do you get it worked on ? well, anywhere you can find a competent mechanic if you can't do it yourself I suppose. It's not a rocket ship. I can understand some concern on warranty work or parts availability, but the worse case scenario is you have to live without your APU for a couple weeks or something. In fact, I would be willing to bet if you pull into thermoking with a kohler apu, you will get perfectly good service.
