Anybody have a koolatron P-85 or P-95 cooler? If so, what do you think about it?

I have a P-75 and it works just fine. Gets pretty cold (I'd say 30-35 degrees below ambient). Have to leave it running as much as possible though. If you unplug it for a day you'll lose enough of the coldness that it'll take half the next day to get it back down again. I would recommend it.

Koolatron is a good one so is the Igloo. Whatever you do don't buy the Coleman it'll be dead in 3 months. You can now buy the small refrigerators at Lowes and Walmart for nearly the same price as the thermoelectric coolers. If you can have one and have enough room I would suggest going that route instead.

Personally I would spend the little bit of extra money and get one of the small office refrigerators or dorm ones. Most truck dealers have their own brands that specifically fit the particular models of trucks. The little cooler ones just don't last no matter what kind they are. Plus the mini-fridges also have freezers.

I got a Coleman, and after about 6 months the top fan went bad, replaced it with a smaller 12v fan from my junk box, worked ok, then got a new 12v fan at Radio Shack, and it works great. Better to spend $20 than another $90!
