I know a lot of drivers don't like Kevin Rutherford. I used to respect him. He does have a lot of knowledge when it come to trucking. But recently he has taken to being an expert on everything. He spouts some dangerous information. Does he really think he is a Doctor, Nutritionist, Dietician and Fitness Expert. Lately his information is no better than some quack on TV selling a miracle diet. One day he tried to tell his listeners that even if you have High Blood Pressure you can have all the salt you want as long as it is Sea Salt. Pure BS : salt is salt. Sea Salt does not have added Iodine but is no better or worse than table salt. He had the nerve to state that any disease with Syndrome in the name is DR. BS! Wow so Down Syndrome does bot exist. Nor Irritable Bowel Syndrome and dozens more. Everytime he listens to one of his dumb audio books he becomes an expert in that subject. He is one sick puppy. My Dr. knows nothing about trucks and KR knows less than nothing about health. I bet some drivers actually believe his BS.

He is just a salesman, and will tell you what you want to here, so that you buy his products... some of what he says has to make sense, and some is the truth. The best lies are always have a grain of truth.

As for the salt, and high blood pressure, your genetic makeup has more to do with high blood pressure than salt.

And yes, syndromes are fancy doctor speak for buy my product.

downs syndromes actual name is, trisomy 21, which is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21. But downs syndrome brings in the dollars to the salesmen who promote they know best. Doctors do not always know, but they sure will tell you they know, and take your money, just like a used car salesmen.

I don't think the guy is any different than a working girl, he'll do anything for a couple bucks. No morals.

Last I checked, he was a contractor for FedEx out of FL. Not sure how big his fleet was, tho.

Wouldn't you think, if he really was into the game, if he really had insider info, he would gave more lucrative contracts than FedEx ?

Truth or fiction, salt is not good for blood pressure. Salt is an astringent, constricts blood vessels, making the heart pump harder. I don't really care what course others may take, give me salt free or give me a heart attack!
