I once heard a caller ask KR if he should put a wind turbine on the hood of his truck to charge his batteries. KR thought it might be something to look into. KR does not understand perpetual motion. The added drag of the wind turbine would consume more energy than it produces.

I listen to about an hour of his show Sat. I had to turn it off when he started talking about how diabetes is brought on purely by your diet, and can be cured, or reversed purely by diet. While this is true some of the time, it's definitely not true all the time. I agree he's gone off the deep end. He did mention something about coming up with a way truckers could follow his diet, lol. He may see $ in his diet pl a n, lol.

To be fair, I believe FedEx at one time had some pretty lucrative contracts. I don't know if he still owns those trucks or not, but he had three I think based in Florida. He did have them and his contract for sale on Ebay several years ago, wanted something like $1 million IIRC.

I heard KR say that he sold his Fedex contract a year or two ago.

Normally I could care less if he spouts all that health nonsense but there are some drivers who think he is a G-d and believe everything he says. Following all his health recommendations could actually kill some poor sucker that is really sick. Makes me wonder how much of his other advice is pure BS. When he talks about those mega seminars he puts on it reminds me of tent preachers.

im an avid listener of kr, and i do agree he is doing a little too much with the health giving his lack of credentials. he does have good information for someone to try and decide for themselves if it works for them or not. he does a lot of research on the trucking side of things and is numbers based guy meaning at somepoint the products he sells will be a profitable investment. iv heard him tell people not to buy one of his products do to the fact it would not be benifitial to purchase at that point in time. he does not have all the answers nor is his way the only way but his products and advice has helped many a o/o salvage, start, and boost their business. people ask him questions and he gives them his opinion. but it is kind of sketchy to give advice on something as critical as high blood pressure he might just leave that one alone and stick with just helping them to lose some weight
