This truck should raise the value of existing w9s.

How so? I am taking delivery of a W9 this week.
Kenworth claims the W9 production will continue.

Bean Jr., Long FLD and Rollr4872 Thank this.

They also said the T660 wasn’t going away when the T680 was unveiled.....

    Comparing a 660 to 900? I don't know.

Yea why would they replace something that's been around since, what the late 60s, with something that barely resembles it.

I read in a couple of publications, the W9 is not going anywhere. Geez, there is about a 10 month wait if you ordered one today.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.

Kenworth introduces new W990 tractor, will retain W900L

Straight from Kenworth themselves. The W900L is not going anywhere.

I saw a friend's W900L dump truck headed Westbound today, while I was heading towards the rising sun. I said quietly to myself, "Amen, now that is a dump truck".

    Hegemeister Thanks this.

Only difference between the two is the air cleaners and hood, main body is the exact same for both trucks.

Because production was moved from Ohio to Washington, they don’t produce the same volume there. If you read the same articles I have they admitted that the W900 is only a single digit percentage of sales in the complete line up. I was previously told next year will be the last year, I could have been told wrong but his information was right on when he told me the T660 was done.
