KW to discontinue W900?

Instead of complaining that “KW screwed up” with this truck, maybe look into why it doesn’t have external air cleaners and why everything is rounded off. Phase 2 starts in 2021 so that’s probably when the big square hoods from every manufacturer will stop.

 

Final rule. Pfft. That BS will never stop.

 

I think it’s 2021, with a ramp up in 2024, then full implementation by 2027.

 

It’s kind of amazing to me how many people sit back and complain about something and have no clue as to why it came to be. KW didn’t just decide to design a new truck model one day, they have reasons. Everyone should be thankful that they’re trying to keep a long hood truck in their lineup. They could’ve just decided to be done with the hoods to keep the EPA happy.

I kind of tried to go down that road but just gave up. Most of the people unhappy about it will probably only ever be in one if they go to work for a company that runs them.

 

They should all tell the EPA to pound sand, in their own ###, with a jackhammer.

 

Yeah that’s a great business plan. People act like trucking is the only industry that deals with the epa. Fairly certain the particle board plants across the country weren’t thrilled with spending millions of dollars to become zero emissions but they must have wanted to stay in business bad enough to do it.

I’d hate to see this country if it were a free for all when it comes to industry. It’s bad enough cleaning everything up from the last 100 years.
