I'm going to go through the mechanicals first, I have to put a engine in it. We will see what the paint looks like after a good washing, but I think I will be able to get by with just bolting on some goodies and a lot of cleaning and polishing and she will look good. There will be plenty of updates to follow.

Is that a Herd "Roadtrain" moose bumper on the top pic Sublime? They make a nice bumper.

Herd Super Roadtrain. It looks great but it's HEAVY which makes it a pain to close.

The Super Road Train was almost $4k. But, the Ali Arc on the other one was $2500. I hit nine deer with it and our deductible is $1500, do the math. :)

I have a bumper on my truck similar to your Ali-arc. It was on the truck when I bought it. I like the look of the herd bumpers and after coming close to hitting a horse up in Montana last week I have been contemplating the effectiveness of the light weight Ali arc . I don't need to change it but i think the protection the big herd bumper would provide would be better in the case of a large animal strike. So far since having my truck I have had close calls with an Elk in British Colombia ,a herd of bison in west Yellowstone and a horse in Montana. Each time I have been left wondering if my current bumper would be strong enough? It's not the deer I'm worried about, it's the large animals.

IMHO--running the areas you do--your bumper would be toast along with quite a bit more--Buddy of mine hit a steer in E texas few years back--20" solid box bumper on a 379--got very lucky actually could still drive the truck--after removing mangled bumper--BUT--overall repair bill was just over 12k--and that was at a friends shop where they did the labor together!
    Something to think about--
