Don't work for this company they have trouble paying wages. I worked there for a week and its been 4 months and i still havent got all my pay. Every time I contact them they have a new excuse as to why they cant pay me yet. They pay on a 1099 so its harder to get paid without going to court and they know it.

I agree this company is horrible to work for we were there for 3 months he left us stranded in green bay, WI when the truck broke down and told us to find our own way home and that he had no money to pay us and we live in Pennsylvania.. also took money out of our one check to put fule in his other truck ... he owes us about 3,800.00 and refuses to pay us what he owes us won't answer any of our calls ...he also owes loves in Cumberland MD money they are taking him to court he also owes Jay fuller towing company money ... he owes Peterbilt in Wisconsin like 6,000.00 and the other guy that drove for him when we did he still owes money too... to sum it all up he's a POS don't work for him you will get ripped off and all his equipment is junk we were in the shop more than anything else

First, you live in a "right to work state", plus "employment at will" which means you can quit "at will" for no reason and on the other side, the employer can terminate you "at will" for no reason. So with that said, there is no way you can be charged for quitting under dispatch. If you even abandoned the load along the side of the road, you are not liable that is if you never signed any type of form to the contrary.

Never, never work under a 1099 unless you own the truck, but you are not out of the money. march yourself down to the courthouse and haul them into Small Claims Court. swear out a warrant for this company for "failure to pay earned wages". The court has to serve the warrant and most probably, when the warrant is served, a different song will be played.

Costs $50.00 to file a "Small Claims" in Iowa (not sure about other states). Would be worth MY time to file on them...these turds NEED to start finding out American truck drivers aren't putting up with this crap any more.
Tired of these stories and nobody doing anything about it. GO AFTER THERM!!!

    Oh yah....stay away from 1099 out-fits.

Every state is a little different in their costs, but what is so nice, the warrant has to be served and then the other party has the burden placed upon them. They cannot ignore the warrant, they have to do something.

Sure enough, it has happened to Bank of America. And when they didn't respond to a warrant the judge found in favor of the plaintiff and authorized the plaintiff to seize office materials from one of their banks! The video is on YouTube (I'll post it later).

"Right to work" means that if you get hired at a business that is unionized, you cannot be compelled to join the union as a condition of employment. Also, civil courts cannot issue warrants until a court date has been set and the defendant fails to appear. Even then, the sheriff cannot arrest the defendant for not appearing in civil court; only try to persuade him to go. Please get your facts straight before giving people advice.
